Markup on materials and labor

Short answer

Each material and labor line has its own markup percentage. A markup of exactly 0% is honoured and saved — it is not replaced by the company default.

Use price-book pricing with no markup added

1. Open the estimate and go to the Materials or Cost Sheet step.
2. Set the markup field on that line to 0.
3. Save. Reopening the estimate shows 0% and the line price equals the cost you entered.

Company default markup only applies when a line has no markup value at all, never when 0 was entered on purpose.
