Steps
Open Invoices and click New Invoice.
Choose the project or estimate to bill.
Pick the invoicing mode (full amount, deposit and final, or milestones).
Set the invoice date and the due date yourself if the default is not what you want.
Review and send — choose WinkScope or your own connected email when sending, and pick which of the client's saved email addresses receives it.
The due date you set is the date printed on the PDF and the date the client's page counts against.
Rules and limits
WinkScope blocks invoices that would exceed an estimate's remaining balance, including invoices started from Invoices > New Invoice. Existing unpaid invoices count until cancelled or deleted; paid invoices cannot be deleted.
A milestone that has already been invoiced cannot be edited.
Pay Now on an invoice requires a connected Stripe account.
Pay Now appears only on invoices that are still open — pending, partially paid or past due. A cancelled, voided or paid invoice has no pay action, and a deleted invoice disappears entirely.
An invoice past its due date still accepts payment; the client's page shows a past-due notice instead of blocking them.
An invoice sent from an estimate carries the estimate's full scope, materials and labor — see the Invoices from estimates card.
