Converting an estimate into an invoice carries the full finished scope, materials and labor across — not just the short brief you typed in. The client's page and the PDF lead with the payment summary and Pay Now, then the payment schedule, the full scope and the material and labor lines.
Where: From an accepted estimate, or Invoices > New Invoice
Plans: All paid plans
Invoice an estimate and check what the client sees
Open the estimate and convert it to an invoice, or open Invoices → New Invoice and pick the project.
Choose the mode — full amount, deposit and final, or milestones.
Open the invoice and use the client preview: the payment summary and Pay Now come first, then the schedule, the full scope, then materials and labor.
Download the PDF — it matches that page.
Client-facing prices only: costs, markup and internal rate markers are never printed.
Fix an invoice that shows only the short brief
Open the invoice from Invoices.
It fills itself from the estimate it came from, so nothing needs re-sending — the client's existing link starts showing the full scope and line items.
If the estimate was deleted, the invoice keeps whatever it already had.
Rules and limits
Materials and labor on an invoice follow the estimate's client-visibility switches — a line hidden on the estimate stays hidden on the invoice.
Payment summary and history labels come from the schedule you set, so a deposit reads 'Deposit (30%)' rather than 'Full'.
A milestone that has already been invoiced cannot be edited.
Only the project total, the amount due and the client's own prices appear — never your costs or markup.
