PDF attachments on document emails

Short answer

When you send an estimate, invoice or change order through WinkScope, the email carries the same branded PDF you get from the Download PDF button — company logo, chosen theme and colors, hidden fields and the validity or due date. Payment receipts and automatic reminders go out on a simpler branded layout with your logo and brand color.

Where: Settings > Branding for the look, and the send confirmation window on any document

Plans: All paid plans

Make sure the attachment matches your branding

  1. Open Settings → Branding, upload your logo and pick your document theme.
  2. Open the estimate, invoice or change order and press send — the confirmation window opens.
  3. Choose the recipient and whether it goes through WinkScope or your own email, then send.
  4. The file that arrives is the same one the Download PDF button produces.

If a branded PDF cannot be built, the email still goes out with the document link and you get a plain notice — nothing is silently dropped.

Send a document with your own email

  1. Open the document and press send.
  2. In the confirmation window choose your own connected email instead of WinkScope.
  3. The same branded PDF is attached through your provider.
